Kochi

Kochi (Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the southwest coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country', Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. Alappuzha

Alappuzha (Alleppey) is a district of immense natural beauty. Referred to as the venice of the east, this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. It is one of the exotic backwater sites in the state of Kerala. This city of south India is situated close to the Arabian Sea and is interlocked by a number of canals and bridges. Alappuzha city is also famous for its backwater cruises, exotic houseboats,houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products,coir industry, Nehru Trophy boat race held every year and for its beautiful gardens on the shore gives an exclusive sight


Periyaar

Periyar tiger Reserve, Thekkady, is an example of nature’s bounty, with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable visitor satisfaction.Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. This reservoir meanders around the contours of the wooded hills, providing a permanent source of water for the local wildlife.Apart from Elephants and Tiger, the other animals to be seen in the Periyar sanctuary are Gaur, Wild Pigs, Sambar, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Dole or Indian Wild Dog.


Kozhikode

Kozhikode on the Lakshadweep Sea, has been known throughout history as a significant port for trade and commerce, Today, lush green country sides, serene beaches, historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries, rivers, hills, a unique culture and a warm, friendly ambience make Kozhikode a popular destination. The prime attractions at Kozhikode are its numerous temples and mosques like Tali Temple, Thiruvannur Temple, Azhokodi Temple, Bhairagi Madam Temple Varakkal Temple and Bilathikulam Temple an art gallery and a museum located at East hill in Kozhikode City.


Kollam

Located 71 kms to the north of thiruvananthapuram, kollam is the centre of the country's cashew trading and processing industry. Thirty percent of this historical city is covered by the renowned asthamudi lake, making it the gateway to magnificent backwaters of kerala. The eight hour boat trip between kollam and allappuzha is the longest and most enchanting experience on the backwaters of kerala. The district also has some interesting historic remnants and a number of temples built in the traditional ornate architectural style.


Munnar

Munnar  is situated at the influence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, nallathanni and kundala, 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile british government in south india. Sprawling tea plantations, picturebook towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities makes it a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grass lands here it has the highest peak in south india, Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.


Westurn Ghats

The Western Ghats are a magnificent range of hills, rising up from India's Malabar Coast. Throughout these hills you find a cool escape from the hot plains below and they are scattered with small hill stations and breathtaking scenery. Ghats, hidden away in north Kerala and the southern reaches of Karnataka. Beginning in a secluded coffee plantation, high in the hills, you then travel deep into the jungle, cut off from the outside world. The journey would take you to one of India's foremost wildlife reserves. Naturelovers can see some of the fascinating hillstations here these are , Ponmudi, Nelliyampathy, Wagamon, Devikulam ,Chembra and Munnar.


Thrissur

Thrissur is called cultural capital of Kerala with its rich history, cultural heritage and archeological wealth. From ancient times, this district has played a significant role in the political history of south india. The town is built around a hillock top. Its most prominent feature is the Vadakkumnathan Kshetram or temple which has Shiva as its presiding deity.Near Thrissur, just 30 km away is one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in the state, Guruvayoor. The historic Sree Krishna Temple is the main attraction.
