Srinagar

Jammu

Jammu valley is one of the three major regions of Jammu and Kashmir. The capital of the state, also known as Jammu, is a famous pilgrimage destination and known as a city of temples, it is one of the major tourist spots of Kashmir. Jammu city is also a rich cultural site, with temples and palaces dotting the cityscape. Sanasar

It is 129 Kms.from Jammu and only 19 Kms. from Patnitop, Sanasar's cupshaped meadow is surrounded by gigantic conifers, the meadow has now been developed as a golf course. There are several walks in the surrounding hills It also provides opportunities for paragliding and it is a place idle for a quiet holiday.

Pahalgam

Pahalgam is one of the most picturesque mountain resorts of Kashmir. It is in Anantnag District and is about 96 Kms from Srinagar. The major tourist attractions of Pahalgam are the myriad trekking routes, the nature trails, the skiing resorts and the Pahalgam wildlife sanctuary.Pahalgam is the starting point of a number of trekking and hiking trails to the surrounding mountains. Tourists can enjoy trekking, golf, angling and pony rides here. Its natural splendor is described by snow clad mountain peaks on all sides, a white water river that traverses the bottoms of the narrow valley and the meadows of 
wildflowers.

Sonmarg

Path of Gold' Sonmarg is 84 kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 2740 m is the last major town in Kashmir before the Zozi La and Ladakh. Its also known as 'Meadows of Gold' flowers and lakes. Its a site suitable for camping. Sonmarg is one of the smallest hill resorts in Kashmir, lying in the heart of a gorgeous valley carved by the river Sindh. A gushing 
river is the highlight of this meadow, flowing down from snowy heights into the dense woodlands of firs and silver birches. Glaciers pour down from this stream from the Himalayas on to the many camping sites in Sonmarg. 

Leh

Leh, the capital of Ladakh, it is a popular, unconventional, tourist spot of Kashmir. The cold desert surrounding the city is visited by scores of tourists looking for a place off the beaten path. Leh is a known as a center for Buddhist culture and religion, and has many monasteries, temples and Gompas dotting the city is a testimony of the piety and religiosity of the people it is a most famous buddhist pilgrimage destination....

Zanskar

Zanskar is situated 235 km away from Kargil. Zanskar is renowned for its high hills and gorgeous gompas. The lovely landscapes and the Buddhist culture of the Zanskar Valley . Zanskar literally means the Copper Star. In fact the various rivers flowing into Zanskar carry copper sediments. The spectacular Himalayan mountain passes leading into Zanskar are open only for a few weeks in the summer months. But once there, the intrepid adventurer is amply rewarded for his or her pains for river rafting and trekking are the major tourist attractions of the city.

Kargil

Kargil, situated at a height of 2704 m, is located approximately 204 km to the west of Srinagar. Kargil is encircled by the Himalayas, lying in the heart of the region. Due to this strategic location, Kargil has an enormous potential for adventure activities. In fact, it is an important start off point for the numerous adventure tours to the Himalayas. It is also famous 
as one of the transit points on the famous Silk Route of ancient Asia. The Suru River flows through the city, adding beauty to its rugged charm.
